Summary
HRTA keeps the data stored on your device to what the site needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking pixels on this site.
Browser storage for sign-in
When you sign in, we save a sign-in token and basic account details (such as your name and email) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. This data is removed when you sign out.
Browser storage for caching
To make pages faster, we cache some public data in local storage, such as lookup lists (for example job categories) for up to one hour and the first page of job listings for a few minutes. Session storage is also used for small interface preferences, such as remembering that you dismissed a prompt during your visit.
Service worker
HRTA installs a service worker that caches static files such as images, scripts and an offline page, so the site loads quickly and shows a helpful message when you lose connection. It does not cache API responses or your personal data.
Third-party services
If you choose to sign in with Google, LinkedIn or GitHub, or make a payment through our payment provider, those services may set their own cookies on their own websites under their own policies.
Managing storage
- Sign out to remove your sign-in data from the browser.
- Clear site data for hrta.ai in your browser settings to remove all cached data and the service worker.
- Blocking browser storage may stop sign-in and some features from working.
